Every year the Deltetto family personally selects the best vine-yards in the cru of Monforte and La Morra in order to have an excellent Barolo, the “Sistaglia” (which means “to rise”), whose name is perfectly in line with the character of this wine which is amongst the best reds in the Langhe.

VINIFICATION:
maceration in its own skins for 7 days.
AGEING:
30 months in barriques and casks (35hl) of French oak and in bottles for 12 months.
YIELD PER HECTARE:

ORGANALEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
intense ruby red colour with shades of purple, bouquet of mature fruit and jam, high alcohol level and tannic structure for a long ageing period. Goes well with second plates based on meat.
